Hello, my name is Jimoya Colley-Anderson and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. My mother has been the backbone of our family; she kept the family together through all our adversities. She has always been the support system, and now we have to be there for her. She has recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness, which has caused her to lose her right leg, and this has severely affected her physical ability to walk and has taken away her independence. This has changed her reality, forcing her to adapt to a new norm. It is challenging, and we will be grateful for all the help we will receive.
We are able to cover some of the much-needed medication, but at times it is very difficult to ensure she receives all that is prescribed. We are reaching out to you all for help in raising funds to cover the cost of getting a prosthetic leg, medical expenses, and the necessary equipment. Every little bit will help us, and we will appreciate any support you can give.
